Fitify
An application that aids fitness explorers by cultivating a digital community met with support and motivation.
THE CONTEXT
We begin this path in gyms and fitness spots, delving into everyone's daily routines. In sharing these experiences and insights, we weave a stronger community, ensuring that support and motivation are fostering a nurturing environment for everyone.
UX RESEARCH & USER INSIGHTS
We interviewed 20 college fitness explorers and observed their routines to uncover motivations, challenges, and behaviors.
WICKED PROBLEM
We identified two primary challenges:
The first is integrating regular exercise into a busy schedule. It's about consistently finding both the time and the motivation to work out, despite the demands of daily life.
The second challenge revolves around achieving a sense of accomplishment and self-worth through fitness. This is complex because it involves personal goals and the feedback we receive from others, making it a highly individual experience.
NEED STATEMENT
NEEDS DEFINITION
From our research and problem framing, we identified core user needs to focus on.
DESIGN OPPORTUNITY
Fitness explorers crave external recognition and feedback to feel a sense of accomplishment.
HMW
IDEATION
We generated a wide range of ideas to address core user needs and wicked problems.

AFFINITY DIAGRAMMING
We organized research insights and ideas into meaningful groups to identify patterns and priorities. We noticed trends about personal workouts and AI fitness, the feeling of community surrounding fitness, and desires for continued incentives.
SOLUTION
We proposed a fitness app with features like personalized plans, AI suggestions, progress tracking, live group workouts, and a supportive community to help users stay motivated, consistent, and confident.

Features
VALIDATION
We tested early designs with 5 college fitness explorers using paper prototypes to refine language, improve layout, and rework visual emphasis.

PROTOTYPE
We brought our vision to life in an interactive Figma prototype—refined, responsive, and ready to guide users every step of the way.
FINAL DELIVERABLES
We captured the full journey—from concept to execution—through a walkthrough video and detailed process book.
